History of Amish Heirlooms

Amish Heirlooms furniture is a family owned and operated business specializing in Amish handcrafted furniture. Travis and Jackie Olson opened Amish Heirlooms in 2003 in downtown Mason City, Iowa. Customer satisfaction and demand for custom furniture has required us to move and expand four more times.

Our most current move has landed us in a great location on the West side of Mason City. Travis and Jackie’s love for Amish furniture began while observing the Amish way of life on fishing trips to Southeastern Minnesota.

They both fell in love with the Amish way of life and high quality Amish grade furniture. Ultimately, Travis’ respect for quality craftsmanship and passion to own his own business began his journey that opened Amish Heirlooms.

Shelby

Since the first days of business, Shelby a Chocolate Labrador, had a constant presence at the store.

Travis and Shelby were constant companions, wherever Travis went, she was sure to follow. Shelby even had her own following of fans. She was often visited by customers that occasionally brought her a treat or two.  She loved visitors, especially children.

In loving memory of Shelby 2003 - 2015

Our Craftsmen

Made in the USA!

Our craftsmen are also family owned and operated small businesses. Most of the Amish builders have their workshops near or at their homesteads with many of the family members taking part in the constructing of quality furniture.

Each family specializes in a specific category of furniture, like bedroom sets, tables, chairs, entertainment centers, sofas, etc. They specialize so that they can master the skill of building the best furniture posible.
